1. The service

4. Accuracy

Transcripts and translations are produced automatically by an AI model and can contain mistakes, including missing, wrong or misheard words and incorrect timings. Check the output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, academic or safety-related purposes.

5. Third-party services

To run the tools, your browser downloads software and model files from third-party networks (Hugging Face and jsDelivr). The site shows advertising from third-party ad networks and uses Google Analytics; their use of data is described in the privacy policy. Links and ads may lead to other websites, which we don't control and aren't responsible for.

6. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FreeTranscribe and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service or its output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
