Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The converter (FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly) runs inside your browser, so the file never leaves your device. That also means there is no upload wait, even for big videos.
Should I keep the FLAC?
Yes, keep it as your master copy. MP3 is lossy, so you can always make new MP3s from the FLAC but not the other way around.
Are tags like artist and title kept?
Basic tags are usually carried over, but check them in your music app after converting.
